Description: This cupholder came directly out of a 97 spec Civic Type R and is the only one I have seen like this. The opening is larger than the standard 96-98 USDM single DIN slot and the cupholders themselvers are smaller than the 99-00 USDM ones. It is a two-piece design as the lid is removeable, but other than that is it meant to replace the USDM cupholder as a single unit. This is not the retractable JDM cupholder, this one is rarer than even those.
